MESSAGE FROM EMBERCITY:
After the tragic earthquakes in Haiti on 1/12 we would like to announce that Embercity will be hosting a benefit concert towards Haiti. This event is being put together by high school and college students eager to support the Haitian people. The concert will be FREE with optional door donation. We will have raffle drawings and other ways to raise support.

We are encouraging everyone to INVITE THEIR FRIENDS. This is HUGE and we can’t stress this enough. The only way this will be successful is if we all come together and support the cause.

Please, please, please spread the word in your schools, churches, and families. Pass along the information to everyone (and their mom). We are still working on partnering with an organization already on the ground in Haiti.

There has been a name change for The Set Apart. The Set Apart has now changed their name to Embercity, and they will also be releasing their brand new 6 song EP on August 28th along with all new shirts and posters. We are happy to announce Alyssa Wheelon, the newest addition to join the Break of Day Family. Alyssa Wheelon is a passionate young singer-songwriter from Vancouver, Washington who sees and shares her world through music. Taking over the piano with astounding style and riveting skill, Alyssa possesses a rare natural talent: that of the power to silence and captivate an audience with melodies fueled by raw emotion, and lyrics that seep into the soul from the lips of inspiration.

We are happy to announce The Set Apart, the newest addition to join the Break of Day Family. The Set Apart started in the Summer of 2008 when founding members Travis Zumstein and Jeremy Koering unexpectedly crossed paths with John Youngs (lead vocals and guitar) and Kyle Nelson (drums and piano). Throughout the first nine months together the group began to find who they were as musicians and how the band’s chemistry complimented each other’s talents.
